DISTRIBUTED FIREWALL AS A TOOL FOR DATA SECURITY IN LOCAL NETWORK

Network security can be attained by firewall. Firewall is a system or a group of systems that implement a set of security rules to apply access control between two networks to protect inside network from outside network. The paper examine the different between the traditional way of protecting both internet and internal network from unauthorized users and distributed firewall system of network security .It also analyze components, architecture designs of this system as well as some basic policies and component of distributed firewall. Based on this study distributed firewall would be essential network and internet security tool foravert hacking of our confidential and important information.
