Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector has been described as the main route in providing highly skilled human resources and one of the key drivers of the economy high-income nation. This study examines the role of policy governance in driving transformation of TVET system and institution. This study uses stratified random sampling and survey method to collect data from 60 lecturers randomly selected from five Osun State-owned tertiary institutions. A total number of 40 usable questionnaires were found with a response rate of 82%. Data analyses were done using SmartPLS and Structural Equation Modelling was employed to examine the role policy frameworks for TVET, quality assurance in TVET, Partnership and collaboration in driving transformation of TVET system and institutions. The result of this study showed that that policy frameworks for TVET, quality assurance in TVET, Partnership and collaboration exhibited a positive and significance influence on the transformation of TVET system and institutions. This study has contributed to the existing literature on the role of policy and governance in driving TVET system and institutions and is helpful to existing policy makers and educators in Nigeria to improve their knowledge base.
